Welcome to the Thanksgiving podcast narrated and illustrated by the students in Mrs. Volpicelli's first grade class. For this podcast, the students created pictures in Kid Pix and share what they have learned about the first Thanksgiving.
Mrs. Accurso's students created the fairytale Evil Aidan and King Luca. In the computer lab, they used Kidpix to illustrate the events. With the help of Mrs. Soeker, they record their part to compose a podcast.
The second graders have learned how authors use story elements to craft stories. They have also learned about fairytale elements. As a class, we wrote a fairytale of our own and we turned it into a podcast.
Ms. DiPietro's second grade class learned about fractured fairy tales and created our own fractured fairy tale as a class. A fractured fairy tale is a silly fairy tale with different story elements. We then illustrated our fractured fairy tale on the computers in the lab using the program Kid Pix. Enjoy listening to our story!
The students in Mr. Hersh's class created the story Gingerella. They worked to create a storyline and characters in the story. They used Kidpix to illustrate the events in the story. With the help of Mrs. Soeker, they each read two lines from the story to compose a podcast.
